Hi educator friends,
The excitement of a new school year is still fresh, and here is another edition of The Interim Plus, a curriculum resource for interested teachers. With all the turmoil in the world, a lot of people are being forced to leave their normal habitat or are consciously choosing to seek better opportunities elsewhere. This is the theme of this month’s curriculum material. Hopefully, it will be of use to teachers of geography, history, family studies, religion or economic. Please share with colleagues in your own school or other schools. And as always we welcome feedback.
To save extra emailing efforts, I have also attached the application/brochure for the Father Ted Colleton Scholarship. The topic for the essay writing portion lends itself to personal creativity. Encourage your student to consider participating in the scholarship contest. The deadline for submissions is December 1, 2014.
