Campaign Life Coalition, the St. Vincent de Paul Society and the Rosalie Hall maternity home joined forces to save a girl in Calgary from having an abortion. Campaign Life Coalition in Calgary is following up with assistance.
Anne Dobson, a faithful witness for life, who laid a complaint of assault against PC Wolfgang Hartig is awaiting a final report being submitted to the Deputy Police Chief. Wolfgang is well-known to the picketers and is the officer who earlier arrested the 14-year-old youth on allegedly “failing to comply.”

Robert Quelch, who was escorting a woman into Morgentaler’s Toronto abortuary on June 16, has been charged with assaulting Lillian Maguire. His trial is set for August 19, at Old City Hall (Room 112).

In July, sidewalk counselors Clare Marmelo and Tom Brown were charged with trespassing at the Harbord Street abortuary.

David Butt, our “friendly carpenter,” presently faces five assault charges on pro-lifers. Trial dates of September 25 and October 14 have been set. Butt has laid charges against pro-lifer Tom Brown, that trial date is set for October 2.
