Human life is a continuum

Council for Life – Nova Scotia is an organization of representatives from local pro-life educational organizations in the province of Nova Scotia.

The objectives of Council for Life – Nova Scotia are:

(a)    To reinforce the traditional Judeo-Christian view that human life has intrinsic value.

(b)   To promote respect for human life from conception to natural death.

(c)    To promote public awareness of the threats to the inherent value of human life that have emerged or may yet emerge.

(d)   To inform the public of developments in Nova Scotia and elsewhere that relate, positively or negatively, to the promotion of respect for human life.

(e)    To promote and encourage programs, in the private and public sectors, that enhance the quality of life for disadvantaged persons, provided such programs are consistent with the fundamental right to life

Pro-life groups in Nova Scotia are financed

by membership dollars and private donations.

They do not have any other source of funding.

COUNCIL FOR LIFE-NOVA SCOTIA is affiliated

With the national pro-life organization, Alliance for

Life.

It is a non-sectarian group whose purpose is to promote

respect for human life, from conception to natural death,

through public education.

HUMAN LIFE IS VALUABLE

–As a unique human being, each of us has a combination of attributes which will never be repeated.

–         The potential of each of us is unknown until it unfolds.

–         To show disrespect for human life is to show disrespect for oneself.
