Pro-life posters have been shipped to 192 Roman Catholic elementary schools in Metro for use in the classroom.
The 8,000 posters donated by Campaign Life Coalition have been distributed with the whole-hearted endorsement of the Metro Separate School Board (MSSB).
Each poster features a large color picture of Mother Teresa holding a child. Underneath is a short biography of Mother Teresa and her work as the founder of the Missionaries of Charity.
The rest of the poster contains the entire speech Mother Teresa gave when she visited Ottawa in September, 1988 to speak at a pro-life rally.
“We know that terrible things are happening to the unborn child; now the mother herself kills her own child,” says the poster, quoting Mother Teresa’s speech.
“Every abortion kills two-the child and the conscience of the mother. She will never forget that she herself has killed her own child.” Posters are still available, in English or French, for $3.00 each from Campaign Life Coalition, 53 Dundas St. E., Suite 305, Toronto, Ontario M5B 1C6
