Remember O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known, that anyone who fled to your protection, employed your

help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly to you O Virgin of Virgins, my mother. To
you I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petition, but in your
mercy hear and answer me as I pray for all the aborted children who have never had a chance to know life in its fullness.

For the mothers who have had those abortions and the doctors who have performed them, that they may come to see the error
of their ways and come to respect all life from the moment of conception to the moment of natural death; and for all those who
still consider abortion as a means of birth control and a woman’s right, that they may bring their children to birth, even if it means
giving them up for adoption to a couple who want children desperately, and can’t have them themselves.

(This is the latest in a series of pro-life prayers presented by The Interim to remind readers of the importance of prayer and
sacrifice in overcoming the evils of abortion and euthanasia. This month’s prayer was adapted by Andrea Mazzoleni, of
Toronto. If you have a special prayer you would like to share with readers, send it to The Interim, 53 Dundas St. East, Suite
