Toronto: Metro Toronto “celebrated” its eighth annual Lesbian and Gay Pride Day on Sunday, June 26. Guest of honour was Vancouver homosexual MP Svend Robinson, who spoke at the Metropolitan Community “church”, which claims to find justification for sodomy in Christianity.
Robinson and lesbian Karen Andrews rode in a 1968 Olds convertible as grand marshals of the parade which counted over 10,000 marchers, according to police. The Toronto Globe of the next day accompanied its article with a large photo of Robinson embracing and kissing a fellow sodomite.
