Canadian Conservatives and Ontario voters will have the opportunity to do something heroic in the next few months: defend preborn children. As we report on page two, there could be as many as four pro-life candidates seeking the Conservative Party of Canada leadership. On the same page we report on another positive development, the rise of two new Ontario parties led by pro-life leaders and committed to pro-life principles in their founding documents. The Conservative Party uses a ranked ballot, there is no risk of splitting the pro-life vote; Ontario voters, though, will have to make a choice which candidates to back, regardless of party. What is clear is that pro-life candidates deserve our support, but more importantly, we owe it to the unborn children of the future to support those who will stand up to the dominant political and social culture, yelling “stop” to the abortion regime.
