President Barack Obama has promoted quite a number of abortion supporters to key roles in his administration and named abortion activists to notable positions in his White House.

Former Congressman Rahm Emanuel is the White House Chief of Staff. Emanuel has a 0 per cent pro-life voting record according to National Right to Life. Former senator and first lady Hillary Clinton, a radical feminist and abortion supporter, was named Secretary of State, where she is expected to promote an anti-family agenda on the international stage, most notably at the United Nations.

Obama also chose former NARAL legal director Dawn Johnsen as the Assistant Attorney General for the Office of the Legal Counsel. Obama named Ellen Moran, the former director of the pro-abortion group Emily’s List (which raises funds for pro-abortion Congressional candidates) as White House communications director. Furthermore, former Emily’s List board member Melody Barnes was appointed director of the president’s Domestic Policy Council. Emily’s List supports unrestricted abortion.

When former Clinton administration official Jeanne Lambrew was selected by Obama to become the deputy director of the White House Office of Health Reform, Planned Parenthood announced it was “excited” about the selection.

International Right to Life Federation vice president Jim Hughes told The Interim “It is unsurprising but disappointing that Obama is filling his staff and administration with pro-aborts,” predicting that Obama will prove to be “the most pro-abortion president ever.”
