Ohio voters have approved a constitutional amendment adding abortion to the state constitution. Abortion advocates are calling on the Biden administration to pump ever more money and enact even more policies in support of abortion in both the U.S. and abroad. Justin Trudeau and United Nations’ agencies have been loudly promoting abortion as essential to their utopic vision. The common theme here is that abortion activists are playing offense.
The pro-life movement has been doing battle in the trenches for 50 years, but with notable exceptions in the political and religious spheres, we have toiled without political or spiritual leadership. We are often playing defense against the ever-encroaching abortion regime. It is time to go on offense, to demand protection for every person from fertilization to natural death. And it is time that politicians and religious leaders step up and join grassroots pro-lifers in the forefront of this battle.
