Lord, You are Father to all whom You have made.
With fatherly love, protect Your unborn children who are threatened by abortion.
Pour Your grace into their mothers’ hearts, so that these, Your children, may be born and grow to maturity in Your love.
Enlighten our political leaders so that all Your children may soon be protected by law.
Forgive us as a nation for this sin. Show me what I can do to help right this terrible wrong. Please inspire our leaders to find the courage to make the right decisions in favor of life.
Help us to overcome the cynicism which colors too many political decisions. Amen.
