Oswald Clark:

Ben & Jerry’s, an ice cream business well-known for its left-wing political views, posted on its official X account support for abortion on March 10, a day abortion advocates call National Abortion Provider Appreciation Day.

Ben & Jerry’s tweeted “Today is National Abortion Provider Appreciation Day! We stand with abortion providers today and every day.” The tweet included a graphic that said “Abortion care providers are being threatened across the country. Here’s why we need to stand with them today and every day.” It provided a link to a section on the Ben & Jerry’s website that included five key pro-abortion talking points.

Pro-life reaction was swift.

Lila Rose, foundress of Live Action, tweeted “Ben & Jerry’s are publicly celebrating abortionists today. Despicable and horrific. An ice cream company celebrating the killing of babies. Time to boycott them!”

Pro-life conservative journalist Michael Knowles tweeted, “Psycho stuff. Everyone knows Ben & Jerry’s are big libs … but cheering on the mass murder of babies is simply revolting. No decent person should ever take another bite of this garbage again.”

Campaign Life Coalition director of communications Pete Baklinski urged Canadian pro-lifers to join the boycott of Ben & Jerry’s. He tweeted, “Just think, every lick of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, you’re supporting an org that backs killing preborn baby humans. Disgusting. I’m boycotting in Canada. Who’s with me?” In another post, Baklinski tweeted, “Ice cream and abortion don’t mix. So gross.”
