On November 15, the Supreme Court of Canada made public the reasons for overturning a Quebec Superior Court injunction August 8 and revealed its continuing anti-life bias. The injunction had prevented Chantal Daigle from aborting her 22-week-old child.

All nine judges ruled that a father has no right to prevent a mother killing their unborn child. They also decided that neither the Quebec Charter nor the Quebec Civil Code provide legal protection for unborn babies.
