On April 13, Joe Borowski dropped into the London, Ontario, Marconi Club to speak to a crowd of about 500 at a London Right to Life Association dinner.
Mr. Borowski told the audience that abortionists ” are killing innocent Canadian babies on a scale that has never been seen in the history of the world.”
“If you look at the total numbers in the country and the United States, it makes Hitler seem like a pretty nice guy” he said. “In Hitler’s time,” he continued, “he killed off five or six million in the gas chamber.” According to official statistics, he said, the U.S alone has killed about 15,000,000 “innocent little babies” since 1973.
In Canada, at least one million have been killed in the same time. He said that “this situation is going to continue at an ever-increasing pace …until that legislation is struck down.”
He went on to tell his audience that abortion in Canada was a crime from 1903 until the Criminal Code was amended in 1969.
Mr. Borowski insisted that the law legalizing abortion must be wiped out. He said that although 1962 Canadian health statistics do show there are 66,000 abortions a year, “the real figures are twice that much.”
