The opening paragraph of this letter to the editor of the Delaware County Daily Times speaks for itself:
The Stupak amendment to the House health-care bill makes insurance coverage for abortion virtually unavailable for millions of women purchasing insurance plans through the newly created health insurance exchange. This is such an unbelievable step backward for us as a society, it should be illegal to consider this.
Emphasis added to make clear how anti-democratic and illiberal the pro-abortion side can be.
