Lead by a pipe band and carrying banners and placards to state their knowledge, about 7,000 Pro-Life supporters marched in silence down University Avenue. The crowds occupied three lanes of pavement and stretched from Queen’s Park to well past Elm street.

The march went past Mount Sinai Hospital, the hospital for Sick Children, Toronto General Hospital and, of course, the Ontario Parliament Buildings.

According to organizers, this was the biggest march ever in Toronto and was considered highly successful by all accounts. Toronto, of course, was not the only center of these marches which occurred across Canada, but we did have photos from this one.
