Interim columnist and Sun News personality Michael Coren will air a segment of The Silent Scream Friday night. It is a pretty powerful video — enough so that Planned Parenthood has a “fact” sheet criticizing it’s “exaggerated concern for the fetus” and supposedly misleading imagery. Those who support “choice” have long condemned The Silent Scream — not to be confused with the horror movie Silent Scream — but their strenuous opposition is evidence of how effective the video, directed and narrated by Dr. Bernard Nathanson, an obstetrician, shows the humanity of the child in the womb and its reaction to being a victim of a violent abortion.

You can read Nathanson’s interview about making The Silent Scream from the September 1984 issue of our paper.
