Florida quarterback Tim Tebow, the center of a ridiculous controversy for doing a pro-life ad for the Super Bowl (on behalf of Focus on the Family) was just drafted by the Denver Broncos in the first round (25th overall). Few pundits thought that this outstanding young man would be picked in the first round of the NFL draft. He probably won’t start for the Broncs next year, as the talented quarterback will need to get acquainted with the NFL game and probably work on some of his passing mechanics. But I look forward to watching Denver in the years to come with Tebow and the man picked three positions ahead of him and his target of the future, wide receiver Demaryius Thomas. For what it’s worth, Cold Hard Football Facts thinks that Tebow is likely to succeed and that if he doesn’t, it won’t have much to do with his throwing motion.
Earlier this week, LifeSiteNews.com reported that Tebow has lost endorsement opportunities because of the Super Bowl ad.
