Paul, when you read the full poll results you mentioned earlier, the most improtant finding is not about abortion funding but that most Americans are uncomfortable with abortion and want much less of it. Asked if they wanted abortion legal under any circumstances, certain circumstances, or illegal in all circumstances, respondents replied 26-50-23. So while 76% want abortion legal at least some of the time, 73% oppose the status quo of abortion-on-demand. More importantly, they want it more rare than the safe, legal and rare crowd pretend to pander to. When those who answered yes to keeping abortion legal in certain circumstances were asked if they would keep it legal in most or few circumstances, 80% said few. In other words, 63% of Americans want abortion illegal in all or most circumstances.
