Kingston conference

Mr. Joe Borowski, well-known pro-life advocate, will be the guest speaker at the 10th annual Charismatic Conference in Kingston this June.

The conference theme this year is that “God so Loved the World” with the focus on God’s love through the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the month of June.  The conference will take place at the Jock Hardy Arena on Union St. (Queen’s University).

It is fitting that the love of God for the unborn should receive particular attention because of the human disrespect that is shown for their innocent lives.   In Kingston, more than 700 are butchered each year for convenience, and the Kingston General Hospital shows no sign of changing the situation.

This is the first time Kingstonians will have the honour of hearing Mr. Borowski speak and we are hopeful that all will attend.

Paul & Timothy (Paul Coates and Timothy Crowley) will provide the music ministry and will be singing their recent release, Cry of the unborn Child which has been so effective in reaching those who are contemplating abortion.

Kingston General Hospital will hold their annual Board of Governors meeting within the week after this event and we are hopeful that the massive publicity which will be generated might help to influence their yearly decision to continue abortions at the hospital.

In union with other Campaign Life groups across Canada, we are organizing a demonstration at the Hospital on Father’s Day, June 17, from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. after the closing Mass of the conference and, although arrangements are not complete at this time, we will invite Mr. Borowski to lead this march.

This could become the largest and most important pro-life event in Kingston to date, so we urge you to mark the dates on your calendar and to plan to attend any or all events.

To register for the full conference or to make a partial registration (if you just wish to hear Mr. Borowski), please write to:
