Big Blue Wave has an excellent post on the latest news peg for her observation that abortion is a shady business: a $1.9 million settlement for a botched abortion. As BBW says, “There’s a pattern with abortion clinics. They’re always dirty and unhygienic.”
One of the stories that I got the most feedback (read: complaints) about was a December 2001 article by columnist Ted Gerk on Arizona abortionist Brian Finkel who was, to put it mildly, a little creepy. Dirty has more than one meaning and it isn’t uncommon for abortionists to be charged with sex crimes.
As Big Blue Wave says, abortion is a shady business.
