Kathy Shaidle, writing at NewsReal, takes on Media Matters which seems to be criticizing those who ‘claim’ Obamacare will fund abortions. It is an incredible take-down of Media Matters. She makes note of a New York Times story that reports “The public plan could provide abortion coverage but would have to segregate federal dollars, just like the private plans.” Shaidle indirectly explains what the fungibility of money is by mocking how taxpayer dollars will be ‘segregated’:
“Segregated” “federal” (i.e., taxpayer) dollars. Right. Taxpayers will put stickers on every dollar bill to show which “fund” they want them to go into! Then elves will sort the money into treasure chests, and unicorns will fly everything over the rainbow to PlanLand!
