Mother’s Day candlelight walk

TORONTO - More than 2,500 pro-life supporters braved chilly temperature and gushing winds to march through the streets of downtown Toronto on Mother's Day eve to protest against hospitals performing abortions. The walk was organized by the Right to Life Association of Toronto and Area to celebrate respect for life and the protection of the unborn. This was the fifth annual walk [...]

How Charitable?

On Saturday, May 12, 1984, Planned Parenthood of Canada placed an ad in the Toronto Globe and Mail. The ad stated that Planned Parenthood has "helped make birth control legal in this country," and that "a vocal minority world-wide is gaining support to ban all forms of birth control." Father’s Day protest

On Father's Day (June 17th), Campaign Life organized a province-wide one-hour vigil in front of many of the Ontario hospitals that perform abortions. Vigils were in place in front of 52 of the 83 hospitals in the province, which perform abortions. Mr. John Deans, Campaign Life organizer, estimated that in spite of the rain, more than 2500 people across Ontario participated in [...]

The Liberal leadership convention

Members of Liberals for Life, with the assistance of Campaign Life, took an active part in the recent Liberal Leadership Convention in Ottawa. On the first day, Friday (June 15) they distributed a flyer, which pointed out that under the present Canadian abortion law, over 1,000,000 unborn babies have been destroyed. It also pointed out that a pro-abortion stand would not win [...]
